Tankersley Recalled to Marlins

DENVER (AP) - The Florida Marlins have recalled former Alabama
reliever Taylor Tankersley from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez says Tankersley gives the team
the luxury of another left-hander out of the bullpen.
The 25-year-old Tankersley was with the Marlins earlier this
season before being sent down to Albuquerque on June 3. In 23
appearances with Florida this year he is 0-1 with a 7.16 ERA. With
the Isotopes, the former Alabama pitcher is 0-1 with a 1.98 ERA in
12 games.
