LAS VEGAS (AP) - Charles Barkley has paid the $400,000 gambling
debt he owed to the Wynn Las Vegas resort. A prosecutor and hotel
official have confirmed the former NBA star and current television
analyst has settled the debt after the Las Vegas strip resort sued
him.
      Barkley will also have to pay a 10 percent processing fee that
became due once the bad check lawsuit was filed against him.
Prosecutors say they expect the $40,000 check but they say the case
will remain open until its received.
