TUSKEGEE, Ala. (AP) — A second Tuskegee University police officer has been indicted in connection with the alleged October rape of a 15-year-old girl.

WSFA reports Wednesday that William Curtis, Jr., was indicted along with fellow officer John Moon in a specially called session of the Macon County Grand Jury.

Curtis faces one count of conspiracy to commit rape and one count of conspiracy to commit sodomy. His bail was set at $250,000. He was indicted Tuesday.

Moon, who is 45, was arrested Oct. 18 and charged with one count of sodomy, one count of enticing a child into a vehicle and one count of first degree rape.

He was immediately suspended from the Tuskegee University Police force.

The rape is alleged to have occurred off campus while Moon was off-duty.

Investigators said they had reason to believe are more victims.
