JASPER, Ala. (WIAT) -- Wanda Kiser has been taken into custody on new charges in West Virginia.
Walker County District Attorney Bill Adair says Kiser was arrested in connection with the investigation in Alabama of two missing elderly women.
Members of the Alabama Bureau of Investigation, Walker County District Attorney's office, and the Jasper Police Department are en route to West Virginia Thursday morning.
Jasper Police Chief Connie Rowe has stated that there will be a press conference at 10:30 a.m. at the Walker County courthouse.
The remains of two bodies have been found in a storage building in West Virginia.
They are believed to be those of two women missing from Walker County almost 20 years ago.
