It was a hair raising charity event that brought regular people from standard to standout as two international hair stylists ambushed average people and made them over at Workplay theater.
The women went from long to short from blond to brunette weather they liked it or not. It was an ambush makeover that changed images.
"We are going to take them to a place we are going to take them from every day hair take them to that beautiful place," says David Steiner.
And for some that change was a bit scary, but much needed.
“I feel like I don't have an updated style for my shape of face. I feel like it is making my face look more round more droopy. I want an uplift.
But what exactly makes this make over so special, the two stylist say its their scruples product line and their attention to detail.
"We will look at their skin tone their eye color how tall they are and mathematically we will put them right color the right style to bring the best out of them,” says David Steiner.
"You kind of see them like this them the make over is happening and you are teaching them and their look is staring to change by the time they are done they are like ecstatic their eyes are big they are moving around their hair is moving its very exciting for me"
But when it was all said and done, what did the guinea pigs think.
"I love it. Looks so good I love the color it looks better. I am so glad I did it."
Many thought the makeover event was entertaining, but it was also for charity. A silent auction raised money for Children’s Hospital.
