Two Arrested for Capital Murder in Birmingham’s 63rd Homicide

Two people have been arrested and charged with capital murder after police discover the charred remains of a body inside a burned pick-up truck on Friday.
34-year-old Phillip Aaron of Cullman (pictured far left) and 38-year-old Angela Rena Green of Birmingham (pictured near left) were arrested Monday.
Their arrests stems from a report of a house fire on Friday at 643 Exeter Avenue in Birmingham. When authorities arrived, they found that a pick-up truck was also on fire and had apparently exploded. When the fire was put out, a charred body was found inside the truck.
The victim has not yet been identified.
The suspects remain in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
