Police Investigate Deadly Shooting in Birmingham’s Inglenook Community

Birmingham police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday night in the Inglenook neighborhood.
The call to the 4100 block of 39th Avenue North came in around 8:40. The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Demetris Raines.
So far there have been no arrests.
It was the city's first homicide since a camera crew from "The First 48" television show began filming Birmingham homicide detectives at work.
