Man Killed on Huntsville Area Highway

Authorities say a man died after being hit by a vehicle on a Huntsville area highway.
Huntsville police said David Keith Patterson was putting gas in his car when he was struck.
The accident happened at about 10pm Thursday on Highway 431 South near Dug Hill Road.
Police said Patterson later died at Huntsville Hospital.
No charges were filed and the accident is under investigation.
