The Million Dollar Band is practicing, traffic is piling up, and roadblocks are waiting to close down areas of campus, all sure signs that it's time for football in Tuscaloosa.  But before you head to T-Town, there are a couple things to remember about game day.  Number one: you must limit the items you plug in on the Quad to two things.  Plus TV’s and satellite dishes are ok, but your mini fridge and crock-pot are not.  "Think about that you're coming to camp and that you're bringing things you can easily prepare or bring warm or keep cold in coolers, just not a lot of cooking on the Quad can on,” says Gina Johnson with the University of Alabama’s Auxiliary Services.
Many fans who typically tailgate along University Boulevard will find there's no way to get your car on the curb anymore.  A new irrigation system and fresh sod in front of Russell, Galilee and Farrah Halls, and the Moody Music building means no more parking on the grass.  "Certainly they can tailgate, they can picnic in those areas just no parking on that new grass," adds Johnson.
Also for fans with disabilities, parking has been moved to the Campus Drive parking deck, with expanded shuttle services available to the Quad and to the Stadium.
