Some more promising news in the fight against cancer… Researchers have developed an experimental drug which could help kill-off cancerous tumors in children. It's called Motaxuhfin, and doctors say it can actually enhance the efficiency of radiation two-fold.
11-year-old Michael Czech suffers from brain cancer. His parents say they now have new hope for their son thanks to this drug.
"He asks me why did God give me this, and I say because you're special…because you're going to show other kids how to be when they have a brain tumor and how to survive," said Mikey’s mother Jennifer Czech.
The Czech family is trying to raise $6 million for research, money that may not only help their son but all kids battling brain cancer.
