Some new developments in the quintuple murder investigation in Shelby County. After several days of little movement on the case, there's been a lot of it in the last 24 hours.
Shelby County investigators went back out to the Center Point area this afternoon where they made four arrests last night. And the officers didn't leave empty handed.
The deputies went back to the People's Choice Barber Shop looking for more information and left with two more persons of interests to question. One of the men was cuffed and placed into the investigator's suv's for the ride back to Columbiana while CBS 42 cameras were there.
One of the men arrested Monday night was Christopher Jones - the owner of the People's Choice. One man who works nearby says the news of the arrest is a complete surprise.
Also arrested Monday night were Alejandros Castenada and Juan Castaneda, both of Birmingham, and Jaime Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX. All four, including Jones, are still in the Shelby County Jail charged charged with capitol murder.
Captain Ken Burchfield, with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, stresses that the two men brought in for questioning haven't been arrested or charged at this point. And he's not sure when or if they will be.
