Tanker-SUV Wreck Shuts Down Section of Interstate 20

A wreck between a tanker truck and a sport utility vehicle has shut down all lanes of Interstate 20.
Police said the accident is near Oporto-Madrid Boulevard.
The accident happened in the west bound lanes just before 9:30am. One person was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment, but police said there were no fatalities.
Police said the tanker is dangling off the interstate.
Both the east and west bound lanes are closed within a half-mile radius of Oporto-Madrid Blvd. to allow crews to clear the crash site.
