The power of the everyday citizen…it's alive and well in Tarrant. Thanks to a complaint from one person, police made a sizable drug bust.
At least one person is in custody, and police tell us they wound up seizing hundreds of thousands of dollars and marijuana. Police found the drugs while executing a search warrant.
Lieutenant Marty Brown of the Gardendale Police Department said, "Throughout the house they found roughly $200,000 in various parts of the house, along with 32 pounds of marijuana and I believe a pistol as well."
Tarrant police say the help of various law enforcement agencies, including officers from Warrior and Gardendale, helped them crack the case.
