Report says Renters Spend More than Home Owners in Alabama

You always hear it's cheaper to buy a home than to rent a place to live. Now a report by the advocacy group Alabama Arise shows that is true for much of the state.
The study called "Locked Out: Low Wages and Affordable Housing in Alabama," finds the state's 500,000 renters spend more on housing costs, than homeowners.
The report blames that on low incomes, and the rising cost of living.
