Double Homicide Suspect Pierre Smith Denied Bond

The 16-year-old charged with capital murder and attempted murder in the July 5th shooting outside Banana Joe's in Birmingham’s Southside faced a judge Thursday morning in Jefferson County.
The judge declined to set bond for Jerry Pierre Smith.
Police say Smith opened fire outside Banana Joe's after altercations inside and outside the club. Willie Daniels and Jason Showers were killed in the shooting, and two more were injured.
