Tuscaloosa police investigators are still looking for information on the robbery of a delivery truck that was carrying medical products and medication.
Police say sometime between 1:00 and 2:00am on July 17th the driver of the truck was robbed at gunpoint. The driver was robbed and the yellow Penske rental truck was stolen. The truck was later found the same day in Birmingham completely burned.
The truck contained diabetic and IV supplies as well as some prescription narcotics and other non-prescription medication. Police believe that some of the medication may have been dumped, and they’re asking the public to contact them if they find it.
Police believe the suspects used a dark-colored car in the robbery. The picture on the left is a surveillance picture taken of the car near the scene.
