Sad news regarding a Pell City police officer involved in a terrible car accident last month.
Officer Greg Surles died Friday morning. The six year veteran was critically injured June 18th, when an 18 wheeler collided with his cruiser on U.S. Highway 231.
The 29-year-old leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
