The FBI says it has arrested four people who allegedly conspired to abduct a Mississippi bank employee for the purpose of robbing the bank where the man worked.
Frederick T. Brink, special agent in charge of the FBI in Mississippi, said in a news release Thursday that the men planned to kill the bank officer, who was not identified.
Zaikai Siti O'Neal of Mississippi and three Alabama residents, Cierra Nations, Vincent Farley and Jose Brown, were arrested in Tuscaloosa.
They were transported to Aberdeen, Mississippi for an appearance in federal court.
It was not immediately clear if they had hired attorneys.
