Jefferson County, Birmingham Police Investigate Separate Homicides

Separate homicides in Jefferson County are under investigation.
Birmingham Police say 26-year-old Antonio Vidal of Hoover was found shot to death on 3rd Avenue North. Authorities said two patrol officers found Vidal on the ground just before 2 a.m. Sunday.
In another case, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said a man was found dead outside a building in the Center Point area. A sheriff's spokesman said the victim appeared to be in his 20's. Sheriff's Sergeant Randy Christian said investigators are working to identify the victim. The body was found around 11:30 a.m. Sunday
No arrests were made in either case.
Authorities have turned to the public for assistance in solving the crimes.
