Countless women have found their sexual relationship with their spouse to be lacking... and, have searched for ways for improvement.

Now, a doctor in California has a created a new treatment for this issue, which is being offered in 29 states, including Alabama!

It's not a topic many people feel comfortable discussing... but, 37-year-old Jane Tepper readily admits her sex life needed improvement... and, is undergoing this procedure to fix it!

"I have a friend who did it, and we talked about it, and she told me it was the best thing in the world and I want to give to give it a try." said Tepper.

The treatment, created by Dr. David Matlock of Beverly Hills, allegedly amplifies an internal female erogenous zone... leading to a more pleasurable sexual experience.

"You really get more sensitive in this area, it's more sensitive, you can feel everything with more intensity." said patient Katia Nevis.

Dr. Keith Abrams of Grayson & Associates says he believes it's more of a placebo effect... and, says there are more effective ways for women to improve their sex lives.

"I think rather than looking for short-term fixes and medicalizing sexuality, people really need to look inward and about how they feel about themselves as sexual beings." said Abrams.

Abrams says the 2 most important factors related to one's sexual satisfaction are their emotional well-being, and their perceptions of the overall relationship.

"I've never had a couple come in and say, gosh our marriage really stinks, but what a great sex life we have, at least not with each other, so step one is always improving the relationship." Abrams said.

He offers tips for a better sex life, like: reducing stress, and, learning more about sexual function.

He's just not convinced some of these medical procedures are all they're marketed to be.

"I think a lot of the vaginal rejuvenation procedures are really all about cosmetic surgery which prey on people insecurities about their body." said Abrams.

As for the "G-shot" procedure, the in-office treatment takes less than 5 minutes... and, the effect can allegedly last for up to 4 months.
