Three Hurt in Propane Fire

A propane tank fire in Morgan County on Tuesday sent at least three workers to the hospital suffering from burns.
Emergency crews spent most of the evening on the scene of the fire. Authorities say the explosion seriously injured three Clark Gas employees, based out of the Decatur office.
According to reports, the workers were attempting to exchange an old propane tank with a newer one, when the accident happened.
One of the victim's was airlifted to a Nashville hospital for treatment. The two other victims were transported to Decatur General Hospital.
The explosion happened near some chicken houses in that area. The cause remains under investigation.
