President Bush salutes Ted Kennedy as a man of "tremendous courage, remarkable strength and powerful spirit."
Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain are adding their words of respect and encouragement. The Massachusetts senator has been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.
The 76-year-old Kennedy was rushed to a hospital last weekend after suffering a seizure. Doctors on Tuesday diagnosed the tumor. They say he's in good condition overall and has been up and around. But they plan to keep him in the hospital for the next couple of days while they decide on a course of treatment.
