It all went down shortly after 11 Thursday night at a home near 3rd street and 6th avenue southeast in Alabaster.
Deputies tried to serve an arrest warrant on 43-year-old Lisa Williams.
"As they began to arrest her, and place her in handcuffs, the struggle continued as the two deputies got 2 sets of handcuffs on her." said Sheriff Chris Curry.
Moments later, according to deputies, 19-year-old Danniel Williams entered the scene, and that's when things got really crazy!
"As they were about to place this lady in the patrol car, shots were fired, the suspect involved in this fired 3 rounds in the direction of the deputies." Curry said.
Fortunately, no one was hit by the flying bullets... but, during the chaos, the woman escaped on foot... and, wasn't found until this morning at a nearby residence, still in handcuffs.
Meanwhile, Danniel Williams was arrested and has now been charged with 3 counts of attempted murder, as well as disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
And, 21-year-old Victoria Conner was arrested for obstructing justice.
Friday, investigators were back in the area, interviewing neighbors and searching for the weapon used in the shooting.
"The reason that's important is because if the gun's been thrown out there, we don't want it to be found by a child or another individual where a tragic accident might happen." said Curry.
Lisa Williams, the woman who was originally being arrested and fled the scene, has now been charged with resisting arrest, obstructing justice, and theft of property.... the theft charge is for stealing the hand-cuffs when she escaped.
