A robbery outside a bank prompts Erwin High School to go on lock-down.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office tells CBS 42 News that a customer outside the Regions Bank in the 2300 block of Center Point Road was robbed Tuesday morning.
The suspect, a black male, apparently robbed the customer before entering the bank. That suspect then fled in a gold-colored vehicle driven by a second black male.
The suspects apparently fled in the direction of Erwin High School, which went into lock-down as police searched the area. The school has since lifted its lock-down.
The suspects are still on the loose. If you have any information regarding this case, contact the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
