An arrest has been made in the case of a man who allegedly tossed his semen onto a customer at an Oregon Target store, accused of a crime that has detectives and the victim disgusted.
Detectives say the act of throwing bodily fluids including semen onto a stranger, while disgusting, only amounts to a misdemeanor charge of harassment. Because of this, the suspect was booked and released from jail on Tuesday.
With his sweater over his head, Ricardo Jose Faulk was doing his best to conceal his identity as he walked out of the Clackamas County, Oregon Jail Tuesday afternoon trying to avoid the barrage of news cameras.
His victim finds it hard to believe Faulk is charged with only misdemeanor harassment.
“This is someone's bodily fluids from a sex act. You can't place a harassment charge on that,” said the anonymous victim.
25-year-old Faulk is accused of walking into the Clackamas, Oregon Target store Saturday and throwing his semen on the unsuspecting female shopper.
“The fact we know this is just a level of harassment, get him into the system,” said Detective Jim Strovink.
Investigators released surveillance photos of Faulk. Anonymous tips lead deputies to Faulk who turned himself in.
So why would someone commit this type of sexual crime? Forensic psychologist Frank Colistro is not associated at all with this case, but believes it is the work of a sexual deviant.
“It's having the fantasy likely to get caught.”
“It's disgusting and repulsive someone who doesn't care about humanity.”
From the woman who says she is still traumatized after the suspect's bodily fluid landed on her leg.
