GARDENDALE, Ala. (WIAT) -- Gardendale police say they have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Khiry Devante Hicks.
Police say the two suspects are 19-year-old DeJuante Tymon Jackson and his brother, 20-year-old Tyler Raymon Watkins of Warrior.
Warrants were reportedly obtained for Jackson for capital murder with bond set at $100,000.
Watkins is charged with hindering prosecution with a bond of $15,000.
Hicks was killed after a fatal shooting Friday night near Mt. Olive.
Gardendale police said the shooting happened near Ashford Ave and New Found Road around 7:45 p.m Friday when they received a call reporting gunshots.
A second caller reported seeing a body by the roadway.
Police said they arrived to find Hicks suffering gunshot wounds, he was pronounced dead by Gardendale Fire and Rescue.
Authorities previously told WIAT 42 the shooting was targeted.
