BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- On Sunday, mothers all around the world were treated like queens.
Mother's Day is a special time to acknowledge all of the things mothers do for their families each and every day.
Each year, www.salary.com takes a look at a mom's responsibilities at home and at work.
Then, they figure out just how much she is worth in dollars and cents.
More than 6,000 mothers kept up with their duties and how long each task was performed on a daily basis.
Figuring a 94-hour work week for stay-at-home moms, taking into account overtime and using salary information from employers, the website discovered that stay-at-home moms should be paid $113,586.
The salary for a mother with an outside job and working a 58-hour week comes to $67,436.
