BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Birmingham fire crews are working to douse the flames of a fire that broke out at a vacant motel on Wednesday evening.
The structure fire broke out at the Adams Inn around 8 p.m.
Smoke and flames could be seen by drivers on various roadways for miles.
Wednesday evening wasn't the first time the Adams Inn caught fire, though.
Another fire broke out at the motel in 2010.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
CBS42 has a crew on the scene and will update as more information becomes available.
