TALLADEGA, Ala. (WIAT) -- UPDATE: The search for Nicholas Bower is ongoing, and Talladega County Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore says there is no indication that foul play is involved.
ORIGINAL: Police in Talladega County are searching for a man who was last seen near the Talladega Superspeedway.
Nicholas Bower, a 27-year-old from Villa Rica, Georgia, was last seen in the South Park area of the race track.
Bower is 6 feet 4 inches tall, and he weighs 185 pounds.
He was camping with friends during race weekend.
According to a release from the Talladega County Sheriff's Office, the last known contact with Bower came on Saturday, May 4, around 11:00 p.m.
He was sitting in a lawn chair near his camping site.
Bower was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with "FASTENAL" on the front. FASTENAL is the name of Bower's employer in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was also seen wearing a black hat with "FASTENAL" on it as well.
Anyone with information pertaining to the whereabouts of Bower are asked to contact the Talladega County Sheriff's Office at (256) 362-6117.
