BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) -- An argument between two men lead to a homicide on Thursday evening.
Deputies found the victim lying in a pool of blood in front of his home on Hillside Avenue in the Muscoda community near Bessemer.
Neighbors tell CBS42 that they heard fighting, two gunshots and then silence.
When authorities arrived on the scene, they found Romaine Witherspoon in the street with two gunshot wounds, one to his stomach and another to his leg.
Witnesses say it took an ambulance at least 20 minutes to arrive to the scene.
Witherspoon did not survive.
So far, there have been no arrests in the case.
