KODAK, Tenn. (WIAT) – You have to give a nod of approval to any couple that has more things in common than not, and Kim and Tim Watkins say they really are two peas in a pod.
Both Kim and Tim are in their fifties and share a common love for the outdoors and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
So, naturally, they got married in a Bass Pro Shop.
Tim decided not to wear a tuxedo. Instead, he chose to wear his favorite Alabama fishing shirt.
Kim donned the wedding gown she never had in her earlier years.
"I think he's gorgeous. He's a hard worker, he's good to me and we're 99.9 percent alike. We like to eat the same things, do the same things," Kim said of Tim.
The couple says they want to get a small house to fix up together – the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy some college football on Saturdays in the fall.
