BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- On January 1, 2013, Cooper Green Mercy Hospital made the transition from a hospital to an urgent care facility.
Since then, there's been some confusion about what types of services are offered.
That confusion will be cleared up on Friday.
Medical professionals will be on hand for an open house, answering questions about the services provided at the facility.
They'll also offer free health screenings and workshops on diabetes, nutrition and exercise.
The Cooper Green Open House runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
The facility is located at 1515 6th Avenue South in downtown Birmingham.
