Time is up for various bingo operators in Jefferson County, and they are shutting down.
The approximately 30 electronic bingo halls in the Birmingham Division of Jefferson County had until Saturday to close up shop. Authorities were out all day and a good bit of the evening, making sure they did just that. However, the closures apparently are not over. The Bessemer Cutoff Division has been told they have until midnight Thursday to shut down their bingo halls.
