WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) - Herbal products like spice and k-2 that mimic marijuana have been banned in Alabama ... but there are new products being sold on convenience store shelves which are taking their place. Law enforcement says that new trend's like Pump It Powder are still legal, but dangerous.
Narcotics officers say one reason why people end up hospitalized is because drugs like Pump It Powder take a while for you to feel the effects, causing users to take more and more in the meantime.
Pump It Powder is currently legal in all fifty states, however, police are testing the ingredients to see if they are among those banned. Those results will go to the drug enforcement agency.
