3rd suspect arrested in Ensley homicides
Birmingham, Ala. (WIAT) - A third suspect is arrested in connection with a quintuple murder in Ensley. Reginald Mims, 16, Artavius Underwood, 16, and Rashad Stoves, 17, are all charged with five counts of capital murder and are being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail. They are accused of killing five men inside an Ensley home earlier this week. Stoves is scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday morning at 10am. At one point, both Underwood and Stoves had been students at Wenonah High School. Birmingham City Schools tell CBS 42 that Stoves was a junior, while Underwood had not been enrolled at the school since August 2011.
All three suspects face unrelated robbery charges. Stoves is charged with attempted murder, also in an unrelated case.
