Do you remember Fabulous at 40? It was my attempt to show how, for many women, turning 40 was the beginning of a whole new way of being. I interviewed women who ran marathons, got married and had children, made fashion fabulous and embraced healthier lifestyles. Then, I let our CBS 42 viewers in on my big 4-0 with a pledge of keeping it FABULOUS! That was a year ago April 2007… I’m concluding the year this April and I have to tell you if life at 40 is this good, I can’t wait to see what the next decade holds.
I’ll bring you up to speed over the next few weeks on my amazing adventurous year. I’ll let you know about my training for a triathlon and actually becoming a tri-athlete. My mission trip to Tanzania and the wonderful people I met covering a story in Kenya at Tenwek Hospital. A place where miracles take place in peoples lives daily. Then there’s my fairytale trip to Portugal and the unbelievable conclusion to Sherri’s 40th year.
