Celebrating The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) This weekend, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute is celebrating another year of the "Reflect and Rejoice" concert.

The event is a tribute to civil rights icon Martin Luther King, Jr.

It takes place Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Alys Stephens Center. The event is presented by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Lawrence Pijeaux Jr. stopped by Wake Up Alabama Friday morning to give us all the details.
