BIRMINGHAM, Ala - TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (WIAT) - A group of everyday Birmingham folks, with a passion to share their faith and bring hope to the needy, is back from a memorable mission trip in Honduras - after a week none of them will ever forget!
The mission team from Dawson Memorial Baptist Church served with Forgotten Children Ministries - an organization that literally rescues abandoned and abused street children, and brings them into their safe, loving shelters. FCM also goes into Honduran villages to minister to families living in pure poverty.
CBS 42's Stephen Hauck had the opportunity to join the team during their week of ministry, and brings you the story from their perspectives - from the mission field in Honduras.
