BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) - Garrick McGee's first season at UAB will have quality opponents for him to face.
UAB released its 2012 football schedule on Thursday. It's one that's highlighted by six teams that played in bowl games after last season, including three that finished the season in the top 20 in the national rankings.
Three of the Blazer's non-conference games will be played before their Conference USA season kicksoff on September 29 against Tulsa.
The McGee era starts September 1 when Troy pays a visit to Legion Field for the schools 10th meeting.
