Alabama senior nose guard Terrence Cody has been named one of five finalists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy. The Football Writers Association and the Charlotte Touchdown Club in North Carolina announced Thursday that Cody was a finalist for the award, which the writers association gives to its defensive player of the year.
