HUEYTOWN, AL (WIAT) - Having a 5-star quarterback didn't hurt four Hueytown High School athletes sign to play college football on Wednesday. Wide receiver Cameron Broadnax caught 14 touchdown passes from Florida State commitment Jameis Winston. The 6-4 receiver garnered enough attention to get offers from UAB & South Alabama. Wednesday he decided to play for Joey Jones and the Jaguars.
Linebacker Chris Rabb signed to play at UAB. He mentioned new head coach Garrick McGee as being a big reason he's stuck with his commitment to the Blazers.
Delta State is getting a good one in running back Tim Foy. He expects to play right away for the Statesmen.
Joshua Jordan is heading way out of state to play college football. He signed to play with Duquesne, in Pittsburgh, PA.
