Birmingham, Ala (WIAT)  After a heavy back to school schedule Tuesday, the Wednesday high school basketball action was pretty slim.  Briarwood Christian and Altamont played a pair of boys and girls games.  

(2A) Altamont won the girls contest 44-42.  (5A) Briarwood Christian took the boys game 45-21.
