Tuscaloosa, AL(WIAT)- There are many faces of Alabama Basketball, but recently this week one managed to overshadow them all. both in size and in attention.

It was the giant head cut-out face of Alabama freshman Jack Blankenship.

 A Birmingham News photograph from Hal Yeager captured the actual face of Jack, along with his giant-cut out face in the background of a dunk by Florida's Patric Young in a Valentines day Florida win over the Crimson Tide in Coleman Coliseum.

It was dubbed by many "The SEC Basketball Photo of the Year"

Once the picture was in the public domain, the expansive nature of the Internet took over.  Soon Jack Blankenship and his face...and his face were everywhere.  On the front page of Yahoo.com, mentioned on ESPN.com....

So it was only a matter of time before Both Faces...wound up on CBS42.   Our special Inside Sports look at "The Face" is attached to this article.
