Alabama Will Represent Well at NFL Combine

Birmingham, AL (WIAT)-The state of Alabama will be represented well at this year's NFL combine.

15 players have been invited to the to the NFL Scouting Combine, including nine from Alabama and three from Auburn.

Former Alabama safety Mark Barron, defensive tackle Josh Chapman, linebackers Dont'a Hightower and Courtney Upshaw, cornerbacks Dre Kirkpatrick and DeQuan Menzie, wide receivers Darius Hanks and Marquis Maze, and running back Trent Richardson are all part of the Crimson Tide championship team that will be headed to Indianapolis.

From Auburn, long snapper Josh Harris will be joined by offensive linemen A.J. Greene and Brandon Mosley.

UAB offensive tackle Matt McCants, Troy defensive lineman Jonathan Massaquoi, and North Alabama defensive back Janoris Jenkins also earned invitations for the NFL Scouting Combine which is scheduled for February 22-28.
