Alabama Get's 500th Win at Coleman Coliseum

Tuscaloosa, Ala. (WIAT) - Alabama snapped their four game losing streak while capturing it's 500th win at Coleman Coliseum.

The veterans stepped up with the focus of this game being a must win situation.

The team responded to Coach Anthony Grant's challenge, playing with more passion and hunger.

Alabama started three freshman, but Tony Mitchell and JaMychal Green came off the bench adding upper class leadership to push the tide over the top.

Four players scored double digits. Trevor Releford led the team with 18, Green had 14, and Mitchell and Andrew Steele at 11 points.

Alabama is off until next Saturday when then host Ole Miss.
