44 year old Lisa Ann Green entered a Tuscaloosa area supermarket alone on the night of July 27th, 2007.  It’s the same night she would go missing. Captain Loyd Baker, Commander of the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit, says they don't know what happened when she left.

"All we know at this point is she was at that grocery store at 9:30 and we don't know where she went after that," explains Baker.

Lisa's truck was found and processed days after she was gone, but no evidence was found. Extensive searches have taken place around the county and still there are no answers.

"Periodically a tip or a lead will come in, sometimes they're not of any substance and nothing we can actually act on, it may be just a rumor, we do check those out," says Baker.

Authorities say leads in the Lisa Green case have slowed, and they've run out of places to look; making this case, cold.

"It’s the not knowing, I believe, that's the worst part,” says Lisa’s father, G.C. Skipper, who remembers his daughter fondly...

"She was very upbeat, optimistic; her problem was she trusted people too much."

Skipper says his family, including Lisa’s only child, a 17 year old son, just want to find closure to this tragic situation.

"I think right now, I just want to know what happened and who was involved, that I have to find out and we have no intention of not pursuing it," explains Skipper.

Baker says this much time passing since her disappearance could work in their favor.

"If someone knew something at the time of the crime and did not come forward, sometimes time will break down relationships between people and they may not keep their secret after a long period of time, that's the people we are reaching out to now."
