Well, I am suprised at the guilty verdict, I honestly thought he would get away with it. Even though I know for a fact he and one other council person was accepting money and gifts in exchange for looking the other way or giving jobs to certain companies. I worked for one of those companies and wrote the check. I can not put into words how I am looking forward to a new start for Birmigham, however there is still one more they need to remove from power, but I am sure they are looking into that and collecting the evidence. I found the interview with Langford and his wife that took place after the verdict unbeleivably sad, that they are still deniing the charges and suddenly turn to relegion as a deterent from the issue at hand. My advice for him is to take care of those suits from NY, as well as the jewelry, I dont think he will be going there anytime soon on our dime to shop, but I can suggest an excellent consignment store!!!
