BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) - In just over a week, Alabama's new immigration law will become reality and opposition to the law continues to spring up across the state.
Wednesday, there will be a hearing for three lawsuits challenging the measure at the federal courthouse in Birmingham, but Monday, a group of teenagers decided to come together and speak out against House Bill 56, one of the nations toughest immigration bills.
They're hoping their voices and presence will be enough to stop the immigration bill and now, there's a lot of concerns that come with this new bill, one being racial profiling by local cops.
Law enforcement won't be the only ones affected by this immigration bill, school districts and employers will also have to make some tough calls.
