Valencia Winston, who teaches Television Production at the Tuscaloosa Center for Technology, has been awarded a $1,000 grant as part of CBS42's One Class at a Time project.  Ken Lass surprised her with the grant in her classroom.  Miss Winston plans to use the money to buy video editing equipment.  The program she teaches helps learn how to cover, shoot, write and anchor the news.

Any teacher can apply for our grants.  Just go to cbs42.com, click on "Features", and follow the "One Class" link to the application form.

CBS42's co-sponsors for the One Class at a Time program are America's First, Pepsi, and KFC.
