CBS 42's Ken Lass surprised Oakman Elementary School librarian Miki Williams with a $1,000 check. The grant is part of CBS 42's One Class at a Time education project. Oakman Elementary suffered heavy damage in a December, 2008 tornado and about 85 percent of the libary's collection was lost to water damage.
The money will be used to buy new books.
